I got home around a quarter past three...  :thumbs

Big mistake doing the Great Ocean Road back to get the Ferry across to Sorento.
I knew it would be slow but some of the traffic I got stuck behind made it really painful!
40-45kmh in a 80 zone was ridiculous...And yes, I could have done what a few Harley riders did and just flew past ignoring the
solid white line but being the law-abiding person that I am, I just sat back and bitched and moaned! lol.
Anyhow, I timed it perfectly with the Ferry so no long wait there, just long enough to bolt to the loo before loading commenced.  :runyay
Thankfully it was smooth sailing so I was able to leave the bike and wander upstairs for a bite to eat and a much-needed drink.

I'll probably get around to posting up a few pics later although pics of the actual rte dinner are a bit scarce as I got a bit distracted... :||||

Mmmm ..... could've been Helen and me in Helen's new Kia Sportage GT-Line Diesel.  Cruising along the GOR, achieving around 5.1litres per 100km, much better economy than the ST1300.

I'd love to blame you but I left before you guys did so it's highly unlikely!  :p

As for Helen's Sportage, I've been trying my hardest to convince Sue of the need to get one...  :X

As for Helen's Sportage, I've been trying my hardest to convince Sue of the need to get one.

It's a very nice overall package, despite a couple of quite annoying little qwirks, and worth the almost 12 month wait.  If you want one this year, order it ASAP.

Unlikely to be this year, Michael, probably won't be until Sue retires... :'(

What are the annoying quirks? "Lane Assist" would be one, I'd imagine...

Oh, just a heads up...did you know when it comes to replacing tyres on it you'll need to replace all four at the same time?

I left around 930 after I locked myself out of the pub.
Went down to the Bakery and got a cuppa and an egg/bacon roll.
Quite good too.

Good run back along the GOR until Angelsea. Bit heavy but moving well.
Bit slow into Geelong all 80k if you could do it.
Got to the Maltby bypass and ground to a halt.
Left lane got me onto the RR, and home, a sweet run it was.

Nice to catch up with all see youse at Mansfield. :thumb

What are the annoying quirks? "Lane Assist" would be one, I'd imagine.

There's a button you press for approx. 3 secs to turn off lane assist, each time the ignition is switched on.

Quirk no. 1 - you can only have the radio / media options OR the heating a/c options at one time.  To switch between these modes there's an icon on the touch screen dash.

Quirk no. 2 - the touch screen icons are very sensitive and it's very easy, even on a smooth road with vehicle movement, to touch the wrong icon and make a wrong selection.

Oh, just a heads up...did you know when it comes to replacing tyres on it you'll need to replace all four at the same time?

Didn't know about that.  Do you know why?

All or none.

Generally the same here, but why all four at the same time with the Kia and Territory?

Is it AWD?
Mine have to be the same make/size and effectively wearing at the same rate.
