Title: Greetings from the police workshop

Just a quick to introduce myself, and say thanks for letting me join this group.

My name is Alex, and I have something of an affliction when it comes to police motorcycles.

I am currently restoring the following New South Wales Police motorcycles:

1979 Kawasaki Z1000 MK2
1987 BMW K100RT (ex VIP)
1999 BMW K1100LT
2000 Honda ST1100 (ex VIP)
2003 BMW K1200GT
2009 Yamaha FJR1300

All bikes will be re-fitted with all their period correct equipment, and then be used for public relations work.

I'm always up for a chat about police bikes, so pop in and say G'day if you have a chance.

Do you happen to know anything about the escort event in the photo you posted?
