It certainly is Diesel. Seemed the morning went forever and trying to watch out for those pesky hoppy things was very difficult. Lucky Kwaka gave me a good heads up for this stretch and adjusted my riding accordingly.

Yeah, plenty of wildlife but mostly goats. Thankfully those buggers tend to head away from you instead of aiming for you like the hoppy and runny (emu) things.

Hey Wheelbarrow, that's a fantastic photo.   Any chance I can have a higher res version to use as a desktop background?

I've already snatched it exactly for that purpose.  Because of the nature of the subject, being lo-res doesn't matter so much.  But a nice higher res copy won't go astray if you want to post it.

Went for a pre-dawn ride out along the Arnhem Hwy on Saturday morning to test my new LED spotties.  As I was riding along, I started to think about taking some nice sunrise pics, but the further east I travelled, the worse the fog got.  Then I got stuck at roadworks for a few mins, so I took a couple of pics, even though it wasn't perfect.

I pulled up at the Jumping Croc cruises and took a couple of pics with the big croc, then decided to head home.

A couple of minutes down the road, I saw this in my mirrors....

So I pulled over and took a few photos...

All in all, a very pleasant way to start the morning  :grin

You captured the mood very nicely.  A beautiful time of the day!
Even better when you're travelling north/south.

Very nice Wendy, but they could have been much better if you had cut down the power poles first.   ;-*

The poles in the last one are part of the character.  They spoil the second last one.
I sometimes photoshop out wires like those in the second one.

I don't have the time or inclination to muck around with photoshop.  What you see is exactly how they were downloaded from my phone.
