It also pays Rob, to go down to Honda and get some extra fasteners that you see on the cowls, as time and kms ravage these.
You should read the oils thread as the filter can be a right *^#@&!!!! to get off, and it offers sound advice on various tools/methods that work well. Not to mention cheaper oil/filter alternatives.
Also - pre-order some alluminium 'right angle' air filler valves for the wheels so that next time you get tyres, these can be fitted. Saves you plenty of cussing when you check the tyre air pressures EVERY TIME YOU GO OUT.
Warning - DO NOT try to bleed the brake fluid system unless you are very confident and aspiring. It is basically easier to conquer the free world than do this! (look it up if you want - but make sure you read the many threads available on how the manual is wrong first!)
Get a good oil funnel.
The rest of the servicing is a piece of cake - including brake pad change - either way - plenty of grey matter on here eager to help if you post one of those... "OH CRAP! HELP REQUIRED URGENTLY!" posts.
Hope this helps.
Cheers, Diesel
