To dine and drink, I thought we would try: The Globe Hotel,44 Louee St
Rylstone, New South Wales

Approximate Eating Time: 12.30pm.

OzSTOC Events are not group rides, so you can come straight to Rylstone , or you can meet up with other members and take the windy way, it is completely up to you :thumbsup

If you have friends with other styles of bikes who you would like to bring along, they are more than welcome :thumb

Those riding from the Sydney area might like to meet up at the Shell at point "B" on the map (place called Bowenfels just east of Lithgow) fuel/coffee/all day breakfast etc around 10.00am. Leave for Rylstone around 10.30am.

If coming from the North, the Bylong Valley Way is getting busy by the cold seam gas people (another whole new story) so get in sooner then later.

I'm leaving Canberra at 0730, riding thru Gundaroo, Gunning, Crookwell, Taralga, Oberon, Bathurst, Soffala to Rylstone. Anyone want to join me on the ride or just turn up at the Globe Hotel for Lunch?

I thought that it was the Shell servo on the corner of Magpie Hollow Road and the Highway. Anyway, I will be at the Shell servo as it is on the correct side of the road (for me) to head to Rylstone if anyone wants any company.

Post by: A2Z on September 13, 2019, 03:03:48 PM: Most people consider Bowenfels as ‘east’ of Lithgow because if you are coming from the East, such as Sydney, you will hit Bowenfels before Lithgow. Hence, most people consider it east of Lithgow. It is only when you look at it on a map that you’ll see it is technically southwest of Lithgow. Hope that helps.

I ain't gettin into no argument over that one, that be the reason of my placement of the corner details (I believe it's more south west if we go basic and look at the cardinal points). However me thinks it's the same everyone is talking about as that is the corner you take to get to Tarana Pub.
