Lately on start-up on my '04 ST, I've had to hold the blinker switch with my thumb to one side or the other to make the blinkers work, and it only seems to keep going after what I can only describe as the unit warming up. It makes riding difficult if I enter a roundabout (turn right) then want to exit (turn left). It's bad enough just wanting them to work in one direction without needing both in quick succession.

Why go "overseas" when the answers are here in Oz already?! :grin
Just shows how this Forum has rapidly matured in its content. The US one has been going since the ST1100 came onto the market. OzSTOC is a much younger Forum.

An update!
After a quick phone call to Dr Brock to verify nothing would fall apart if I take the switch cluster apart, I split the two halves, gave the blinker switch a good spray, and the others too just in case they thought of playing up, put everything back and voilą! All is good again. :thumbsup
