My last rego renewal came with a flyer regarding the change to no label October 2014

It seems to be inordinately difficult to just not have a sticker.  I thought they already had number plate recognition.  Presumably it takes a year to implement it.

We still get a few people complaining that about not knowing when the rego expires but the renewal is still posted a month beforehand as usual.

I pay mine online, print the receipt and staple it to the renewal which still counts for proof of payment until they send out the certificate.

The bit that gets me is they still charge us an admin fee when we do it ourselves online.....

The Newman Government can't rush these things Biggles, there's people to sack at the Government Printers, there's graft to collect from the IT Companies who scored the contract, there's Rego and Insurance to increase and there's Sons and Daughters, Nephews and Neices cousins and mates to hire and place in lucrative jobs.

I mean there's a lot to do.......

Pleased to say I've fitted my last label this week for the ST,  Unfortunately the car has one more to go for approx 6 months.

I wonder how many expired stickers will be left on cars in a year or three.

You guys in the Eastern States are a bit behind the times :rockon

We in the Glorious West, haven't had to worry about stickers for over three years.
Although I do use the holder for my OZSTOC sticker.
