Re: For Sale GPS RAM Mount
« on: July 31, 2019, 01:46:57 PM »
I have purchased (second hand off Gumtree from WA) one of these dash mounts for my ST1300:

The intention is to consolidate and tidy-up my existing GPS and phone mounting arrangements, which uses these:

If it's successful, I'll have twop of the reservior mount available for OzSTOC members, if not the dash mount will be up for resale.  Either way an OzSTOC member may wish to take opportunity of my excess RAM mount stock.

Stand by for an update over the weekend.

Didn't get around to this task last weekend, have an RDO tomorrow, we get to the garage with tool in hand, as long as it's not too cold.

Chris,

Change over completed, two of these thingies available.

Come with screw and washers, but not the little plastic spacers (shown in the below eBay ad), unless I can find 'em between now and pick-up or posting.

Someone on eBbay has 'em for 42 bucks each, will we agree on $50 the pair?

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/RAM-Mount-Motorcycle-Offset-Brake-Clutch-Reservoir-Cover-GPS-Camera-RAM-B-346U/151419671081?epid=2256026326&hash=item234150d229:g:kaAAAOSwDk5TsnqJ

If you have my mobile no. give me a call, or send an message and we can exchange no.s.

Addition:  Found 4 x little plastic spacers.  Not needed for the ST1300 brake or clutch reservoir mount anyway.

Now if a mod could cut 'n' paste post 5, 6, 7 & 8 from this thread into another in the buy, swap & sell area, we could un-hijack Alan's thread.

I can't confirm that.

They do indeed fit the 1100, I have one on mine.

But that sounds good enough for me.

Steve, I bought similar from The Seed Man for the clutch mounted GPS with ball of course, cost of $35. That was for the Bm, and works a treat with all mounting hardware. Regards Nigel :beer

Thanks Nigel, I remember seeing them on his site when I've bought other RAM things, hadn't realised they were that affordable though!
