Around the world on a Royal Enfield Himlayan
« on: November 13, 2019, 06:39:41 AM »
I am loving following the dailyvideo blog of a young Dutch woman who is exploring the world solo on a Royla Enfield Himalayan (400cc adventure bike), much of it by choice on dirt roads.   She has already travelled through India, Asia, the Stans, Middle East and Europe and is now going from Patagonia at the tip of South America to Alaska.   Her achievements make Charlie and Ewan's adventures, with all of their support vehicles and people, look a bit tame.

See  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEIs9nkveW9WmYtsOcJBwTg   for Noraly's video blogs called "Itchy Boots"
See   https://www.itchyboots.com/   for her web site

I love reading of other peoples adventures.

I understand that "Long Way Up" is currently being filmed and Charlie and Ewan are riding Harley Davidson LiveWire electric bikes from Patagonia to Alaska, with a huge support team of both electric and conventional 4WD's and spare bikes.

Only recently I read of an english woman in her 50's who spent 5 years on a Royal Enfield through Europe, the Middle East and Africa, can't recall her name

So at what age does this "old enough to know better" kick in?
I believe in the "hereafter", every time I go to the shed I have to think "what am I here after"
