Good idea, or perhaps down the coast and stop at the East Lynne shop. Or a few other places.

I will see how I go, as I may be back for mum's 96th birthday on 24 April in Colac. My youngest sister will be off overseas so we are doing some rosters to do all the things that need to be done for mum day to day.  Lucky me has a few spare sisters  :thumb to help with these things.

We are having to opt out of this one as we have changed the route home from Canberra  & will be heading down to Victoria for a few days, we've decided on the 26th to ride from Canberra to Yass, Gundagai, Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, Corryong probably ending the day at the Tallangatta Pub.
Hopefully we will catch up with some of you later in the year

This one is just down the road, so I've put it in my diary, so you guys might have an FJR for company. If I hadn't mentioned that it was an FJR, I bet you guys wouldn't have have known any different or been able to pick it amongst the ST's in the parking lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not vsure I'll make it tomorrow, as I went for a ride today, part of which was through the Kangaroo Valley. For those coming into the Valley from the South Highlands direction, be a bit careful, it's still wet in the corners and bends and a little bit treacherous.

Thanks johnny.

We wont make it unfortunately to this one. We've got a bit of a clear up session to do at the weekend after the storm and we are still without power.

Have a great time and I will see you all when I get back.

take care out there and hope everyone is doing ok after the storms.

The day started out a bit cool, around 8c in Canberra, but the forecast looked ok.  The roads were wet to damp in most places, but I managed to avoid the rain (but the rain got me back in the end big time on the ride to the Bunya Mountains RTE in Queensland).  Norm's brave forecast for no rain was ok for me, not as much for those heading North.  From Nowra to Nerriga and back to Canberra was a nice ride in good weather. The road is now fully sealed from Nerriga towards Goulburn and Taralga, but they have not built the new bridge as yet. Something about it being started in the wrong spot so negotiations have to be done.

The original plans for the new bridge had it going through sacred aboriginal land. The bridge was re planned/re located and is now well under way and is supposed to be completed by July?????? I'll believe that when I see it.

The pylons are just sitting there, nothing has changed for a few years it seems. The low level crossing is ok most times anyway.

Saaz, we must be talking about different locations. I ride and travel that road on a regular basis and the pylons I see have only gone in this year.
