Post by: Jdbiker on September 09, 2021, 07:41:22 AM
Just a RUOK call out to all OzStoc members, it has been a bit quiet on the forum lately, trust all are keeping well and safe.
Cheers and best wishes to all.

Thanks for your concern, JD!  :Blow

Sue & I are doing okay...How are you and Chippy coping?

Thankfully us regionals are sort of out of lockdown at midnight so things are getting a little closer to being back to normal...for how long though, who knows???

It's just a shame the Toora RTE was cancelled, we could have attended...  :grin

Thanks JD for posting this. I was thinking I had been inundated with calls etc today. Grin.

We are doing ok ish. I cant wait for this to be over. In desperation to get back on The bike I have decide to ride the back way to Lilydale to the dentist next week if its a decent day. Way outside my 5km. Well its 10km. It will be pleasant and legal for a medical appointment.

Rusty, if you c@n go to Toora why don’t you ask if anyone else in regional Vic wants to go and go anyway.

Thanks Rusty, Chippy and myself are doing fine and consider ourselves extremely lucky that we have able work throughout this period just miss the travel.
Cheers.

What a wonderful thead to start on "RUOK Day".    See  https://www.ruok.org.au/join-r-u-ok-day (https://www.ruok.org.au/join-r-u-ok-day)

We're doing fine thanks, but I'm a bit over having the crook back which is keeping me off the bike, and I certainly long for the day when I can freely ride interstate to catch up with you lot.

The weather forecast is looking pretty ordinary for the weekend otherwise I might have...
Besides, we're actually booked in to stay at the Toora Caravan Park the following weekend!  :thumbs

That's good to hear, JD!  :clap

It's a shame you both won't be able to make it the following weekend, we were really looking forward to catching up with you both... :fp

I’m ok thanks for checking in , I had the same problem as Pete back giving me hell and the Bike in the shed needing a new back tyre , haven’t been on the bike since late may . Had some problems with a shit neighbour last month needed a go away for few days other than that I’m fine.

Seems to be the month for back issues!

Mine's been giving me grief as well...sort of self inflicted though as I've been doing too much bending while building a raised garden bed out of sleepers.

I've had to resort to a few anti-inflammatories so I can get it finished...  :thumbs

just checking in, I'm OK too even if very slack in posting! Sympathies to the back sufferers. I had my back operated on a few years ago. It was risky but the risk was worth it because I can  now walk without pain. The doctor said the back trouble was my fault because I'm 6'6" tall. I said it was because everything from benches to motorcycle seats are too low!
