Oh yes, very pleased to be home. A very pleasant lunch but the weather there and back was atrocious. No photos - Shillas posed the question but it got shot down very quickly - too bloody wet. I'm looking forward to our next outing. I wonder if we will go from the sublime to the ridiculous - torrential downpour to 44 degrees?

Actually I posed the question.  The riding in the rain didn't bother me.  Moving stuff from top box to pannier and vice versa, plus putting rain gear on off in the down pour was frustrating.

I'm glad I took the sensible option and drove. The road between Langhorne Creek and Strathalbyn was really bad with large sections of it underwater.

I almost went that way but instead followed Langer's route via Wistow to Mount Barker and cruise controlled the freeway home.
