12V LED Camping Light
« on: January 03, 2016, 11:03:27 AM »
Hi Team,
I am searching for an LED camping light like the below either 12V plug or a USB plug in, so when i am setting up camp in the dark, i can run it off the bike or a charge pack.

Any thoughts and ideas?

I think the Bat Light looks good because you don't run the risk of flattening your bike battery or your jump start battery. I was going to get one for my bike. I think I'll get one for the weekend in Guyra.

I use one of these    http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/SCA-Worklight-60-LED-12-Volt.aspx?pid=121478#Recommendations     when camping out of the back of the ute, but it might be a bit bulky fro bike camping.   It's very bright and draws about 250mAmp.

If you are after a wide area light you can't go past an 6 foot high light saber. Would look cool on the back of the V-Strom (be seen for up to 2 miles!)
Comes in multiple colours too!  ;-*  ;-*  ;-*

I acknowledge hardworking Australians no matter who they are or where they come from. All those who have contributed to this wonderful country deserve an equal share of gratitude for their contributions. To single any group of individuals out for special homage only denigrates the rest of us.
