I reckon any reputable automotive crash repairer should be able to repair and color match for you.

Over in Toombul, I can find the address if you decide to go with him.
About $150-$200 for that job looking at it from here.

Not all car body shops are like that.  I was quoted $400 by one on a previous occasion.  A lot of them don't want that kind of work, it seems.

I've had my topbox back for over a week now.
It's literally the best painted part of the bike- not a hint of "orange peel" or any other flaw, with all the accoutrements installed as they were originally.

Impeccable!     ;-*

He said it took him a day to get it right.  The Honda code produced an orange tint so he kept adding Wineberry until it matched.
Painstaking!

See what I can do.
Will need to Photoshop them to ensure there are no specks of dust...

OK Brian, here's the pix:

Allowance has to be made for the angles of the surfaces, light etc.

For instance the two shots of the RH pannier have different looking colour on the side and rear.

There's residual damage evident on the black plastic of the topbox.  I shaved off the burrs, but there's no way to restore the texture.

JuST a thought .......to mask the damage to the bottom half of the Top Box how would it look if you got your painter to apply the red to the 'band' leaving the reST as black.

Nah.  It's the texture that's the problem.

Could smooth the band all the way around.

In the 90's I had a plastic welding welding business  There was a product in the system I had that spayed on and restored the texture  .It was clear you then painted over it . I used it extensive repairing screw holes in dashes after phones were removed for car yard trade ins  not sure if it is still around but might be worth chatting to  plastic welding repair shops

I took our newest member over to Toombul yesterday to see this expert.  He'd closed up shop and gone!   :'(

We found a possible new painter near here.  If it works out, I'll recommend him- the signs are positive.
