45  :eek now that's impressive!  I maxed out on the Himalayan at 42, close to Sedan, but once I'd climbed to Keyneton and was on the road to Eden Valley it dropped to 37 - luxury!!
Despite the heat I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and in particular the company (8 I think which is pretty good for us Croweaters).

I didn't hit the 40s all day.  The Kwaka maxed at 38°C.

That was in Cambrai.

Dropped to 35 once I got up into the Ranges towards Mt Pleasant.

The clothed water shower when I stopped in Cambrai was amazingly cooling in all the gear.

I only saw 38 degrees as the top, and only for a short while between Cadell and Sunlands. 36-37 the rest of the trip.

Good day, good food, good company. Thank you Gents (and lady).

To answer one of your old questions re the road from Blanchetown to Mannum being sealed, I rode Murraylands Road from Blanchetown to Fisher yesterday and it is dirt the whole way until a kilometre before the Stott Highway.

lI thought that might be the case, Bodo, thank you. It is sealed all the way on the eastern side, so that is good enough.

Got to leave the chook chasers some where to have fun.  :rofl :rofl
