I've seen similar OEM lenses on cars and I don't think they were HID as they had no washer/wiper for the lights which HID must have.

I can get these for the car but the so called LED DRLs just use parking light circuit which our transport dept. says is a big NO. It may be possible to use them if they dim down when the headlights switch on as the Commodore HSV does that

For got to add - All lighting must be certified to either the ADRs or the European ECE requirements.  Unless the supply can supply testing certification to show that light assembly, identified by serial number or other permanent marking, complies with those requirements they would not ne legal to be used on the road.

Its simple really, Lights to the front of a vehicle must be white or amber, so won't comply
