After not being able to make it last time I'd have been keen on doing this, but as borders restrictions are what they are and SA having an RTE on the same day I am reluctantly let this one go through to the keeper. Hopefully another time.

I didn’t realise this clashed with other RTE’s and I would be happy to make it the 22 August which is the date originally advertised.

Those who have already indicated they are going, would it cause any problems if date was moved to a week later?

I will be making this an overnighter and probably get a cabin at the Van Park.

Consensus Please, The NSW Covid Infections are following a similar pattern to VIC when they started to spike. I see a possibility that we may be heading towards lockdown in NSW. We are already restricted to a maximum booking of 10.
Here is the question: Should we postpone this ride and perhaps next months (September) also to next year, or plow on????? with the plan to still ride in August.

Personaly, I am of the view to poSTpone

As much as I would love to catch up with you guys, I have to agree with JYT, but would probably go and make it an Overnighter if others were to go.

It is precisely because of the fear of further restrictions that I would hate for this to put back for a later date. For me, the sooner we get it done, the better. But then again, I’m just keen for an RTE and don’t really care about the when or where. If we do decide to go to Junee, I agree, it would have to be an overnighter for me.

Let’s not preempt the lockdowns. Let it happen when it happens. And when they do, that’s when we cancel the RTE’s. Let’s work around the restrictions instead.

Proposal: Cap the RTE attendees at 10, and increase the numbers as restrictions allow.

What do you guys think?

OK, OK, OK, The booking is confirmed for 10 people only, for Saturday 15/8/20 at 12pm. (I figure a 6am departure for me from home, again)
Terry and Allen have already voiced their intention to go as will I, that is 3. Due to the restriction of 10, please reconfirm or add your name as once the 10 are arrived at, you will only get on if someone pulls out.
