Overnight RTE, Saturday 15th of September, Inverell, New South Wales

We are having an overnight Ride to Eat to Inverell in NSW, anyone and everyone are welcome, we will be staying at the Fossickers Rest Tourist Park, They have BBQ Facilities and a nice Area for us all to have a feed and a good social time catching up with all the Faces, New and Old, and is central enough that everyone from north and south has an opportunity to come.

The Fossickers Rest Tourist Park has a variety of accommodation from Cabins to Villas to camping sites Pricing Ranges from $20 to $120 depending on the bed you want.

Dinner & Breakfast

Dinner and breakfast is going to be provided by the Inverell Lions Club

Cost for Dinner & Breakfast will be $35/head (we have investigated what they are serving, they buy good steak and the like, so we will be getting 2 very good feeds, and putting money back into the local community group)

Full Salad Range
Bread rolls and the trimmings

Bacon & Eggs

Toast
Tea & Coffee

At last an RTE that I can attend. Now that I am well enough and my bike is back together and its in my part of the state, put me down for an attendance. :)

I will definitely be there, probably taking and extra day there and back riding roads like Thunderbolts, the Oxley, the Putty road etc etc. Life is tough but someone has to do it! Lionel should turn up as well, and Perhaps Terry from Canberra. It is 850kms the shortest way from here.

They might be NSW records, but achieved with talent borrowed from Queensland.

Sorry, I'm out. Must have had a sudden rush of blood to the brain jumping in so quickly, because SWMBO just reminded (forcefully

) that at the end of the week after the ride we are off to Thailand and Bhutan for three weeks on holiday and to celebrate her 50th.

as for the record this is not a state based event but a national one, so it will not be recorded as a "NSW" or "QLD" event.

I am just looking forward to it already, nothing like doing a 1000km for the weekend to improve the outlook on life

1500kms one way is a bit to far for us at the moment but on the same weekend we are looking at doing a ride to Silverton via Broken Hill. Not sure if we'll make it an overnighter yet but it's a possibility.

Also out of interest I checked Ulysses Branch at Broken Hill and it's a regular monthly ride for them and coincidently it's the same weekend we planned to go. Wonder how many ST's are in that branch?
