MV Navi-GPS Holder Honda Pan European ST1300
« on: July 30, 2019, 03:09:19 PM »
I saw this in a Facebook post this afternoon. Might interest those who are after a camera or GPS mount for their 1300

As shown in the photo, the holder will be attached on the left side with two existing screws.

The set includes a 25 mm receptacle ball.

All balls are provided with a rubber ring and therefore are non-slip and vibration-damped.

Thanks Alan.  That looks like a very neat way to do it.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

Be good if it came with a Garmin size ball...I think they are 17mm???  :think1

Bit out of my price range anyhow...especially after shipping is added...  :-[

I had that issue with my phone mount which also uses a 17 mm ball.

I ended using a inch ball on a Migsel mount (for the 1300) which the double socket here https://www.motogps.com.au/ram-mount-60mm-short-double-socket-arm/ went onto

Then this https://www.motogps.com.au/arkon-25mm-ball-to-17mm-ball-adapter/ 25 mm to 17 mm adaptor for the phone mount.

Thanks for that info, Alan... ++

My ST already has a 25mm ball mount attached to the handlebar riser so I had actually been considering one of those mounts.
Either that or perhaps one of these: https://tinyurl.com/y2e589sn
Only issue I may have with the latter is the closeness of the power socket to the ball mount...  :think1
