Brilliant, bummed I missed it.

...not really, as the pic attached to this thread bears absolutely no sodding resemblance of just how flamin' cold and cloudy this bit of Victoria was on Sunday. Can we draw a line in the sand right here and now that from 1st of June  through to 31st of August all RTE's in Victoria be NORTH of the arse end on the Great dividing range please :thumb

The grub however, was both cheap and very well priced :-)

Cheers, the can :-)

It wasn't that cold once all the gear was on. I arrived back in Canberra to -3c temperatures but sunny.  Didn't even turn on the heated grips or seat for any of the trip to Colac-Sunbury-Bunninyong-Bendigo-Canberra but I did feel a bit warm every time I went inside for more than a few minutes..

...Yes John!  best part of a bottle of red and numerous whiskeys, scotches and bourbons the night before can have that effect of not needing additional warmth the day after...can't it ;-*

Ya gotta admit, the sunshine and a 50% increase in ambiant temp to the staggering heights of 12C around Castlemaine was better than flamin' Ballaarat (note correct spelling) :wink1

I could deny some of that, but it is true  ;-*

The ride back was good, as the sun was out. Temperatures went from 4 to 14c, the ice warning only came on for a while in the fog around Seymour.

'tis a bit cooler at night here at the moment, even compared to Bendigo
