A bad start to the day with me locking my key and spare key in the top bix as I was setting up to go. I usually have a spare one in my jacket but didn't this morning so there was a half hour wait for a locksmith. Once going I tried using the gopro in a different positiion only for it not to be secured properly and fall off at Flagstaff Hill. Fortunately it was still in one piece when I turned around to retreive it. From there no dramas.
First stop was a cup of coffee at Yankallila Bakery before moving on Torrens Vale. It was my first time back here since bringing the firenze here in 2014.
I followed the road up to Parawa before turning back to Inman Valley. That's another I up my sleeve.
I had planned to go to the Alma Mile Climb but ditched that part of the trip after wasting time at home waiting for a locksmith. I was the first to arrive at Finniss. There were five other bikes at the time but they left not long after I arrived.
I managed to papp all other bikes as they arrived.
I've eaten here a few times and have always been happy with the food and service. I even got one of them to take the group photo for us so everyone was in it.
No stopping on the way home, returning via Strathalbyn, Wistow (thick fog as was the case in Parawa) and Mount Barker to complete a loop.
Thanks to everyone making an enjoyble day despite getting off to a rough start. I look forward to catching up with everyone in the new year.
