I am a maybe for this one. I want to ride the 1300 which is in a million pieces right now(lengthy Farkling process). Thank goodness that we have school holidays for me to get all the tinkering out of the way and have a practice run or two beforehand.
I am looking at a true round trip, over the mountains through Bathurst and Cowra and then on the highway, not yet fussed which way I will be running the loop, either way it will mean an early start. I figure around 900 odd Kms for me.

Please add me to the list for the trip. This will be my first trip and meeting with the group since joining earlier this year.
Had previously booked for the Wiseman's Ferry trip but had to cancel due to illness.
So looking forward to this ride and meeting fellow members.
I have booked my accommodation at the Junee Hotel, arriving friday 19th arvo and staying 2 nights.

Hoping to catch you there.

Cheers and happy travels

An event on the past weekend leaves me in need of a ride north to meet-up with STroppy and pick-up a pair of pannier boxes.  This likes the best option, but I do need to work out some logistics.  So in the meantime .......

The current plan is, leave early Saturday morning.  Any takers for a ride buddy - JD and Chippy are leaving Friday, so what about you Nigel?

The direct ride is: https://goo.gl/maps/DdbDDTSAMvF2 but this might be a bit tedious, so I'm more inclined to take an interesting route: https://goo.gl/maps/uU7cthtYXiR2

Any spare bunks in a cabin - STroppy has offered, but that would make three in a cabin (which is doable), but do have you a spare bed Nigel?

Cheeky plick, you'll keep.

Lunch time is a lunch time.

Still some logistical matters to be sorted out.  It'll be an 8:00am departure if we are to ride the long way, if we are to get to Junee at a reasonable hour.

Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)

That is a huge Ride Williamson.. Have you done the road between Tallangatta and Walwa at all around the weir.. it is really windy road and it wioll be around 80 for a fair bit of it bit of a rough road too.
Great to see all that beautiful countryside though.

Did the Tallangatta to Jingellic section a couple of weeks back.

But yep, it will be a big day.  And now that I'll need to be waiting for Nigel to catch-up at end end of every twisty, it'll take even longer, so I might need a re-think.

I have just booked a two bedroom cabin at the Junee Caravan Park dates 19-21, so if anyone needs a bed for either one night or two, here's your chance.
Price for the cabin is/was $280 or $140 per night. Cheap digs at $70 a night, otherwise I get a clean bed two nights running  :grin
