Road with a group in Melbourne on one occasion a few years ago and one of the boys had an ST1100 with over 400,000ks on it and still going strong. I absolutely believed this was genuine. Apparently just stuck to the required servicing and no rebuilds etc. I actually don't have an ST as yet as years ago, I joined because I had an ST1300 but had to sell it because I was constantly being followed by the local fire brigade who thought that the bike was going to burst into flames given the amount of heat it was emitting. Road the ST1100 before that and should have bought one of those. Now back into the market looking for one after I sell my current GSX1400.
