Member Welfare checks
« on: August 22, 2018, 08:46:35 PM »
Evening all,

Just sent a "G'day and a What's ya up too" to 65 of our fellow OzSTOC members who we haven't heard from for sometime....

I had to set a criteria to follow so based it on members who had more than 25 posts and haven't logged on for a 100 days or more....

I sent these as a PM to the members and receiving the email notification will depend on the recipient's forum notification settings....I elected not to send as BCC emails as we got flamed by a few when I did this once before who didn't wish to be contacted by the group they joined.

So if you see a face pop up on the forum not seen for a while be sure to say G'day....

For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Just as a FYI.....sent 65 PM's.

Was great to hear from 3 members.... 2 have had a motorcycle change and advised they are more than welcome regardless of what they ride.

they are more than welcome regardless of what they ride.

That's good to know.  That said, no one here has ever made me fell that I was unwelcome.

Perhaps we need to be a little (lot) less subtle.

I'm still working from home. :whistle

Around a month ago, Shonee's boss insisted she go back into the office,  :|||| even though she was more productive (longer hours) from home. including working on the Labour Day Public Holiday to get clients staff registered for Job Keeper.

We are still seeing the Grand-kids every Saturday, and the eldest has started swimming lessons again. The youngest might start again this weekend, (if she's recovered from the head cold she's had. (Not COVID, the family were all tested) so maybe no sleep-in for us this Sat.

Cheers,
Gary

We're not letting it cramp our style.  Mrs Biggles flew off to Tumut for some grandies time.  A couple of weeks ago I flew to Sydney to pick up Rubina (thanks Gadget) in a 737 that had nearly every seat occupied with voluntary masks available (about half wore them).  Our Church had its first non-streamed Service last Sunday with WuFlu limitations in place.  Driver Mentoring is starting up again, as is the School kids' Mentoring program.
