Does anyone know where you can buy a tank bag that will not scratch the tank and is made for the st1100?

I've got a Bagster which has a leather cover that attaches and the tank bag clips to that. The leather base has a soft liner that doesn't do any damage to the paint on the tank cover. The one in the pic is black, mine is gold obviously. It isn't a cheap option but it does work well.

I have heard of people gluing a couple of metal pieces under the tank cover and using a magnetic tank bag.

Sorry to disillusion you Bear, but it's vinyl, not leather. I sold one off my blue ST1300 2004 with us both thinking it was leather until he tried to do a dye colour change.
Having said that, it's a high quality vinyl, and Bagster make them in France. They seem to wear very well.
They're distributed through UK supplier and cost about $230 landed. I don't have the price on the Bagster tank bag, but it's also very well constructed and matches the tank cover perfectly. For the ST1300 it is designed to flip up easily for refuelling.

Their was a crowd in Brisbane on Ebay flogging the bagsters, both the base and the bag for under $300 for a while. A chick I know got one for her Ducati and she says it is most excellent

Hi, I suggest you keep an eye out on ebay as they often turn up. I was outbid on one at $100 recently just before I purchased the one as per the link below..........I Know, what a bargain for a new bagtser at $51. It fits the St1100 like a glove.

I have contacted the guy in the U,K, who runs Bagster, he is prepared to cut a club deal if we buy his product in bulk, is anyone interested in getting anything??,
I was thinking that if we put in an order had it delivered to one address we could score a discount on the product and then save on postage as well. I am happy to have it all delivered to my address and then forward it to everyone else pt of ot works out cheaper have him psot them to us individually direct.
Bagsters tank covers currently retail for Aus $164.00 plus postage on E Bay so we have to do better than that

Have a look at this deal on the UK E Bay site, it is for a white ST1100 tankcover, bag and some covers to suit the panniers as well, at the moment it is at about $900 for the lot, good buying at that price, shame it wont fit the 1300!!

Z9 I'm interested in seeing what I could get one for the ST11 for in a group deal. I have the covers & bags from my last two Blackbirds in the storeroom, so I have a bag that will clip to it, unless they are a good deal.
