I am currently with Shannons,
2002 Honda St1300 ,agreed value $8000 policy cost $258.02 Pa.
1996 YamahaXVZ1300 ,Agreed Value $5800.)) policy cost $210 .21 Pa.
Both inclusive of GST. And paid monthly by direct debit without incurring any extra costs.
Both these policys are ,
Private use,
Limited use,
Basic excess $500.00,
Garaged,
Have various accessories listed,
Qualify for the maximum no claim bonus of 65%
covered for accidental damage or theft
riding apparel cover for motorcycle and pilion passenger,
windscreen cover i understand that it is presently at one per vehicle per year , with no penalty of excess or loss of no claim bonus.
accidential damage to your trailer when it is being towed by your motor vehicle or motorcycle
There are quite a few other additional benefits but you would need to refer to the product disclosure statment and or discuss your particular requirements or situation with them,
Also it helps if your usage is stated as limited use,
Ie, in my case this is so as I have two bikes and I can only ride one at a time and I do not use one bike daily as a commute to work.
I find Shannons good as I also have the car, and house and contents with them and that attracts a further 10% multi policy discount,
They also seem to have quite a few other benefits when I read their policy disclosure Ie. An Enthusists cover for automotive memorabilia and collectables,$10.000.00 this covers unregeristed vehicles , Ie a restoration project, etc,
and automotive spare parts and tools etc, there are some conditions pertaining to this you will have to examine their policy statment in order to understand their conditions.
For me when I compared several other companies Shannons got my tick tor the most acceptable set of benefits for my money.
Their household , and contents policy also seemed to have a number of benefits that some of the other companies were a little light on also.
I hope that this helps and or gives some added information,
