Hi All,
Has anyone had experience with Insure My Ride Insurance .
I have got an online quote for 12 months of $289.00. This is close to $500.00
cheaper than QBE. :rd13

but it gets boring,So I go back to being Me!

Bikes I've had;
Suzuki K10 80cc.
B.S.A. Bantam.
Honda CB450.
Suzuki Savage.
Honda SL100.
Honda Postie Bike.
Honda ST1300A. Best of All. GONE & SOLD
Honda CB 500X. New to my Stable. GONE & SOLD.
NOW BMW R 1200 RT

Compare the exact coverage carefully, you may be surprised how much isnt covered. Also try talk to QBE and see if you can use that quote to get em down.

There was a good discussion on this topic earlier this year check the link http://ozstoc.com/index.php?topic=1064.0 :grin

Anyway, I was in the same boat as you, QBE renewal came in :eek... long story short, I got a quote from Insure My Ride, spoke to QBE and they offered to match the price.

That being said there were a lot of other options that the guys came up with :thumb (I'm too young to be able to take advantage of them) but some might be an option for you... have a read through the posts (if you haven't already) and hopefully there will be something of help there :thumbs

Cheers

I had my BMW K1200Lt insured with Insure my Ride.  I had it parked, I wasn't there, a truck went to park and reversed right over my bike and killed it.  Insure my Ride paid up with 7 days much more than I paid for it !!!

They are a sub subsiduary of Shannons Insurance, who have all my cars and bikes.
