Air Filter... is there a generic Repco/Ryco filter?
« on: December 21, 2015, 12:27:54 PM »
Title says it all, need to change my air filter before I head away at the end of the week (fingers crossed everything else gets sorted by then too!), I've searched around and can't find a part number for a generic filter... which seems odd, I'm sure I'm just not searching the best I can... Well, there ARE many distractions in my house this week!  :runyay Thanks guys.

Nothing that i Know of. The Honda filter is higher so a fill in piece could be used but be careful and dont use sponge because it may be sucked in. Measure the old one to fit etc.

I now hand it over to the more experienced  :grin

The only generic one I know of is from David Silver Spares (BHCBB-MT3-000P for 15 pound plus postage) which I bought a few years ago and e-bay shows quite a few listed but none in Australia. http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2060353.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.XHonda+ST1100+air+Filter.TRS0&_nkw=Honda+ST1100+air+Filter&_sacat=0

When I first saw the 1100 air filter it looked almost the same size as the Holden red motor ones (149, 161 etc.). My current filter has been for 50,000 km so I might think about getting one soon.

I bought a reusable filter for my ST1100 - not a K&N but from the local Australian manufacturer . . Am away from home but will check when I return.  My ST1300 already had a K&N fitted . . . Both are well worth fitting . . .

Just had a look on internet . . Unifilter is my 1100 filter . . . http://www.uniflow.com.au

The ST1100 Unifilter Reusable airfilter is $45.50 part number NU 4090
