No-one, Leo, they are both mine...  :grin
Both needed refueling, one in preparation for the RTE this weekend and the other so I could go for a ride this arvo before the rain arrives...  :thumbs

I'm a very firm believer in having a spare, but an identical ST is beyond my expectations!  My "spare" is my commuter, the VStrom 650.
Then again, I could accuse you of being greedy, hogging two red ST13s!   :p
I'd have to agree- you're welcome to keeping two of them that clean.  It's a solid hour job if you go at it flat out.

Cheers Bill...  :beer :beer

The "spare" will come in handy down the track as there are a few things I want to do to my "old" ST such as fitting my new bike cam, my new heated grips & wrapping the headers.
That will take me an age what with the speed I do things...lol.

Regarding a commuter, it would be nice to have something a little bit smaller & lighter than the ST just to play on...maybe once I sell the "spare" I can convince Sue of the need for another "project"...  :whistle

As for keeping them clean...I'm a bit over it at the moment, it feels like I've done nothing but wash and polish for the last few weeks!!!

One thing I have noticed though with what are "supposedly" 2 identical bikes, is how easy the new one is to put up on the centre stand compared to my old ST...Not sure why???
I might have to swap the stands over and see if that changes things around...lol

We might just be on the cusp of discovering another change in a later model.  It would only require the centre stand to be 5mm shorter to make a significant difference in the ease of getting the bike onto the stand.  I use a 10mm piece of timber under my rear wheel to help me get the bike on the stand.  Allowing for the distance to the stand from the wheel centre, my 5mm guess might be about right.

It's not a later model, Bill...in fact both ST's were built July 2005 so blowed if I know why there's such a difference...  :think1

Does a detailed examination of the stands reveal a modification in one?  Another possibility is the rear suspension of one is taller.

That may be the answer as the newbie has an aftermarket rear shock... :thumbs
