Milk Run

(1/1)

Dragonstaff:
I accidentally turned my phone's camera on while I was putting it in the Quadlock at the supermarket this afternoon, and was pleasantly surprised at the clarity of the picture through the windscreen. So I tried the video function...

I decided to see how it would go as a dashcam and ended up with this. Way to shaky to be much use, and a fair bit of wind noise. But for what it is worth, for anyone with twenty minutes to waste, here is my run home from the shop today.

It's a hard watch, a coupla of snippets was enough for me.  The roads are pretty rough, or you need a wheel balance.

Dragonstaff:
Road at the beginning is pretty rough, but it was also shaking around on the end of a Ram mount arm.

ruSTynutz:
I flicked through your video and it didn't seem too bad considering...  :thumbs

Do you have one of those vibration dampening Quad Locks, Dave?

Dragonstaff:
I do, Rusty, but the Ram mount arm jumps around a bit.

I am now looking at a dahscam set-up for it so that the phone can do it's own job.
