This is a cheap low km K1200 LT

Does anybody know of the final drive problems are fixed when rebuilt?

BMW 1200 final drive replacements have also been known to fail which is why IBR competitors carry a spare even after a rebuild.

Sad as it may be, it's the truth.  For instance, the Japanese-built Goldwings are generally preferred to the USA-built ones.  Similarly, Toyotas from Japan versus the ones that used to be built in Australia.
