From last year's.

"BP North at 8:00 for 8:30 departure. Meeting in the Northern end of the Car Park just past McDonalds.

Approx 2 hours riding time, with a Morning Tea stop at The Edge Restaurant Montville and then onto Boreen Point for lunch."

A friend from work may be joining us on his suzuki at Montille for coffee.
Unfortunately child minding duties when his wife goes to work means no pub lunch for Graham.

We might not make this as we are riding round Northern NSW on Saturday & staying at Glenn Innes Saturday night so depending on when we leave Sunday it may be a bit of a stretch getting to Boreen Point in a timely manner.
If we dont see you there have a great day, ride safe & hopefully we will catch up on the next one

Bad news, there has been an issue with the booking at the Apollonian Hotel

As a result the venue for this ride has been changed to the Royal Mail Hotel (down near Noosaville)

Event Information:

The Royal Mail hotel has a long history in Tewantin. Originally built in 1882 by Ned Murdoch, a former Cobb & Co. coach driver, who constructed a modest four-roomed hotel on the site.
The Royal Mail Hotel had numerous owners through the years before burning down in 1939 .
The hotel was replaced by the current building in 1941 and is still enjoyed by travelers and local today.

I have driven past the Royal Mail many times in the last 20 years on the way up the beach fishing & camping but never stopped in

While we were waiting for a train at Landsborough, I turned the mounted phone/navigator to selfie and shot this pic...

A couple of incidental vistors - OzSTOC Members Dave and Narelle just happened to be in Montville at the same time - must have been a sight to see 7 other STs there...
