This is me losing my ST virginity. Bought the bike as a non runner and am still as happy as the selfie suggests.

It's ambiguous- you might be gritting your teeth.
I deduce this was the day you bought it, not the day it broke down. (I've only seen one other on a truck and it had a tank full of diesel fuel.  Still ran, but blew quite a cloud of smoke.)  I recall it being a red ST13.     :think1

Bike was smoking and pouring oil out. Of the EXHAUST! Floats had stuck open through lack of use and filled the sump with fuel. Carby and tank clean and oil and filter change and she's a goer. Finally got my screen where I want it. Tried temporarily raising it to totally block the wind but it looked more like a yacht than a bike. Cut it down, wind on my chest now, not my noisy helmet. Next step redo the seat higher and flatter so I sit a little further back. Gonna use a local trimmer I know through my church, let you know how that works out

A great place to take a selfie.

Brekky on the Sunday of the National Rally weekend in Grantham with Growly just before we went our own ways.

This was taken at the Floating Cafe...

Spanner's 2nd one illustrates why you don't take pix towards the sun.
Yours suggests a bit more light is helpful using light-sensitive devices.

Captures the mood nicely, though.     :grin
