The weather isn't looking too promising for next weekend!  :popcorn

I think that will be a deciding factor as to whether I end up going or not...  :think1

Russ, as you well know after my last visit, it takes more than rain to disrupt my trips.
I'm not missing this one. :thumb (It's only 90 mins for me, my last visit to you was around 8 hours+ of wet travel)

Yeah Kev, but I'm not as crazy as you... :whistle  :-++  :rofl

If it was only a little bit of rain then yeah...but it is sounding like it's gonna be wet all weekend, well, at this stage anyhow...  :fp

Now that I have the correct date in the calendar I plan to be there. Solo on the solo or + Chris on four wheels. Not sure how I got that wrong. Not paying attention perhaps!

Good thing you were sick then otherwise it may have been a touch embarrassing if you'd turned up today and no-one else was there... :rofl

But then again, you wouldn't be the first to do that... :whistle

It seems the weather forecast is looking a little bit better for Saturday... :thumbs

There might be a change of plans though, as much as it feels just plain wrong, Sue & I may end up rocking up in the car... :fp  |-i

Unfortunately Julie will be a non-starter, another commitment has come up unfortunately, so it will just be me. I've completed my into Vic and return to SA travel permits and very much looking forward to getting back on the road to locations where the roads aren't quite so straight.

Yes, sadly the twisty roads are in short supply over here. However where there are such roads at least they are not usually clogged with traffic. I rode the GOR the other year and the traffic was so bad east of Apollo Bay there was no enjoyment being on the road.
The TPMS is in the tank bag.

I will not be able to make this one. Family birthdays and other circumstances have conspired against me and I will have to get a ride in on another fine day. Enjoy the ride and the weekend for those making a weekend of it. Catch you all next month.
