« Last post by Williamson on April 27, 2024, 05:18:06 PM »I have just tried to ring the Shamrock to confirm my booking but when I ring 03 5020 1607 I get a message to say it is disconnected. Anyone have a new phone number for the Shamrock?
I've had so much trouble with contacting the Shamrock (unanswered 'phones calls, emails bouncing back), and when someone eventually answered there was trouble with clear communication, I eventually gave up.
This is why the dinner has moved to the Balranald District Ex-Services Memorial Club. and Nigel's & my accommodation booking changed to the caravan park.

« Last post by Jdbiker on April 27, 2024, 05:04:49 PM »Peter Stevens Ringwood had a demo day. I think Zero is an American company based in California and was started by an ex NASA engineer. I initially thought they were Japanese with the “Zero” name.

General Discussion / Zero test ride
« Last post by Jdbiker on April 27, 2024, 04:43:32 PM »Took a Zero sr/f electric motorcycle for a test ride this morning and I have to say I am impressed, the power and acceleration is amazing, and I only had it in economy and standard mode, regeneration braking ( engine braking) was great too, hardly used the brakes. Would I have one, definitely, but at $45k it’s not affordable. But as more manufacturers enter the market, prices will drop, and we are sure to see a lot more electric motorcycles on the road in the future .
Good news, my Transalp has arrived at the dealership and should be uncrated and assembled on Monday, so hoping to have it by Tuesday.
