Nah, I had the bike ceramic coated so it'll be easy to clean and not need polishing

I ceramic coated my ST nearly a year ago and it certainly makes a difference doesn't it, splattered bugs just hose off! 
I even ceramic coated my helmet and visor a few weeks ago!
