We've found out from international suppliers, apparently Aussies are the only ones to call them cros. Every where else just calls them Oscilloscopes.

With modern digital oscilloscopes there is no longer a cathode ray tube. Just a Linux or Windows or embedded operating system and firmware controlling hardware and displaying on LCD or LED touch screens. Some new ones go up to 100 GHz.
