In front of some rather neat bush art made from old car bodies. On the Collingullie Jerilderie Road, just outside Lockhart (The Verandah Town) SW NSW

A 600mm deep floodway is a big thing to an ST - Too big in fact. The floodway before this was 400mm deep which I gurgled through ok but not this one. Kakadu National Park supposedly on the way out to the aboriginal rock art at Ubirr.

Kronosaurus Korner, Richmond, Flinders Hwy, Qld. The notice board said the Americans who found the fossil tooth (or whatever) took it back to the States with them. All they left Queensland was a concrete model. Fair trade I would say.

If you look closely the money in the sign is pounds, and the number plates are "funny".
Defiantly not New Zealand.

Number plates aren't funny. :eek

(The first element consists of two letters which show which one of the 41 regional DVLA offices in the country the vehicle was first registered at.  This is called the "Local Memory Tag".  The letter 'Z' is not used in this element.

The second element consists of two numbers which identify when the vehicle was first registered.  This is called the "Age Identifier"

The third element consists of three random letters which give the vehicle its unique identity.  This is called, not surprisingly, the "Random Letters".  The random letters are made up using all of the letters of the alphabet except 'I' and 'Q', but any combination of letters which could be considered offensive are excluded.)

It's so PC Plod knows who you are and where your from. :law

Went out for a ride out to Gympie on the 6/8/12 and stopped at the Matilda at Kybong

Out the back they have Matilda the kangaroo from the 1982 Commonwealth Games

so I had to get a few pictures of the ST1300 nearby, unfortunately I couldn’t ride the bike right up to her

She is still automated and turns her head and ears, and winks, how cool is that :thumb

Cheers

STella pictured here in front of a big, extinct volcano core..

It's called Crookneck and is part of the Glasshouse Mountains - in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland...

"Bloody bored Romans"
Me thinks it's that bloody big Giant carved into the side of a hill with a bloody great big D##K
Think its near a place called  Dorchester.
Think its carved through the dirt into the chalk underneath., that's why it sticks out
