Are we able to put up some generic Aide memoirs instead of industry specific from the person tagged. I'm sure it will make the game more fun if we all are on a level playing field rather than using technical parameters that most of us have never heard of before.
If WET which is Wine Equalisation Tax is too hard then try RDO which also comes from industry.
It not that it's too hard Gadget but to obscure, it's not something the common person would ever use.We are not common people. OzSTOCers are unique. :grinIf WET which is Wine Equalisation Tax is too hard then try RDO which also comes from industry.

Most TLAs and FLAs are obscure, unless you've been filled in somewhere along the line. RPG from the gaming community means Real Powerful Gun but unless you've been told you wouldn't know. Same as FPS = First Person Shooter or in the video and film industry Frames Per Second.
I can't think of any TLAs that don't come from either Defence, Government or some industry/business. They purely exist as a form of shorthand to make life easier for people who work in that industry or business.
Even MPG comes from the automotive industry. KPH from government and the measurement industry.
For me I've worked in Defence, Government, Commercial sectors including aviation, pathology, metallurgy, concrete, cement plastics, paper and have come across heaps of TLAs and FLAs. Even some units of measurement are TLAs.
With HRC I expected with the breadth of membership in OzSTOC there would be metalurgists or NDI inspectorsor welders who would work it outn or have come across it before.
Because you picked out PSI, I figured WET wouldn't be too hard and with hints someone get it.
If it was too easy, then it would just come down to who is logged on and active the most and leave others out. Not everyone is logged in every day.
Anyway who has an answer for RDO

Reasonable Benefits Limit
Tax Office definitions
Reasonable benefit limits (RBL)
RBL is the maximum amount of retirement and termination of employment benefits that a person can receive over their lifetime at concessional (reduced) tax rates.
Due to a number of legislative changes in relation to RBL, there are different types of RBLs that may apply including:
Flat dollar RBL
Transitional RBL
HAS based RBL
15 Feb 90 balance RBL
15 Aug 1989 RBL
Refer to each particular RBL definition for more information.
For each type of RBL there is a Lump Sum limit and a Pension limit and these limits are indexed annually (with the exception of 15 February 1990 and 15 August 1989 RBLs).
Refer to the definition 'Excessive RBL determination notice' for details about the taxation of benefits that exceed the taxpayer's RBL.
