Hi John.
As previously mentioned I aim to leave from the 7-11 at Narrabundah on Tuesday morning around 9:00.
Heading via bombala with the intent on catching Deisel as well for the ferry ride then onto the GOR.
Towing trailer so will be tent and or swag at night were ever I see fit.

Bike is right to go, got all the checks complete, rear tyre will either just make our planned 5,500 k's or it won't......so have worked out suppliers along the way......didn't want to take off prior and toss away K's.

As for packing, we have just been tossing everything to go on the spare bed.......so thus far we are towing a 6x4 box trailer bursting at the sides and looking for a tandem 8x5 tradies trailer......that's just HER shoes , makeup and hair straightener !!!

LDcomfort niks have arrived......they look the goods!

Heading off on the 12th......

Hi Ray - do you pitch a tent? Or just sleep 'Mexican siesta style' on (or next to) the bike?

Previously it was on the bike, gunna be uncomfortable now tho. Found it too much hassle trying to get tent pegs to hammer thru rock, so I guess it is "Mexican Siesta" style for this trip!

Look out for photos and lots of stories (true ones too perhaps)...we'll miss you - but family first. Perhaps 2014 will be in Darwin?.... that's a rideable distance from Perth init?

I have a few of them on my bike - 55w HID spots and 70W hi/lo HIDs. But red seems to contrast so well with all those lights :0

Ok, will work on meeting there. I will PM my mobile number. If I am not there assume I will catch up by the ferry to get to the GOR. It all depends on whether I have to visit my mother on the way to SA, which may be a last minute decision. But I have Diesle's plan so can hunt you guys down when you least expect it :)

Oh there are no exclusions for this award.....remember, if you see it and it is hilarious, make sure you tell me, diesel was silly enough to tell me about what he did to himself, he actually thought i would keep it under my hat......i am still laughing....

I now have an opportunity to attend the national rally.
Leaving from Brisbane Thursday, 14 Mar; arriving Middleton Friday, 15 Mar.
