The bike's booked in with Mainfreight so fingers crossed it should be waiting for me at their depot in Botany for when I fly in on the Wednesday before the Rally. I might hit you guys up for some riding company from Springwood (brother-in-laws place) up to Toowoomba over the Thursday & Friday?

Well my situation looks to be possibly changing again. Hopefully I should know by the end of the month if I will be attending now. If everything falls together the way i'm hoping I will be there.

Its only a two day ride anyway.. under 1800km.. thats got to be better than last years 3500..  ++

I have just registered for the rally and accommodation sorted. I have a rough plan to leave home on the 19th and arrive at Toowoomba on the 20th sometime. Looking forward to see old faces and meeting new ones.

Registered & accommodation sorted (cabin share with Tipsy & Lesley). Leaving from Dorrigo on the morning of the 20th, arrive Toowoomba sometime that arvo. We are looking forward to meeting everyone.

I havent been to a rally before so can someone briefly explain what goes on :(. I assume that aside from eating and drinking, we all walk around each others bikes and ooh-aah! and talk technical. Is the event actually at the Big4 park or elsewhere?.

We're going to pop in for the weekend if there is any accom left. Will go check now.
If any interstate guests want to come and stay on the Sunshine Coast before or after the event let me know.
Sitting up on the hinterland 1.5hr north of Brisbane and about 3/4hr from Noosa. It's abt 20 mins inland from Maroochydore
