Following with great interest... not sure how many I’ll be able to attend his year, what with the new baby due mid Feb and all, but NEXT year it’ll be game-on! My oldest will be 8 and is counting down the days ‘till he’s allowed to come along with me :D

 :OldMan

Here's the latest:

Apart from the corrections, I've added Camperdown on 30 June.

It was pointed out to me that June and July is cold and wet here in VIC, but I don't think that should prevent an RTE being organised.  If there is a plan, there's a plan.  If it turns out to be too cold and wet, well it can be called off, if even the diehards pull out.

Any of the destos in the list,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Thai dating, or Older Dating. Probably good for both but not at the same time. Not in front of the missus anyway! Whats the plural of missus? is it missus us. ? :KissBlow :grin

That's a link to the image host site.  If you are not logged into the host site, perhaps that's what you see when you 'click' on the image.  Do you at least see the image for the hotel or Google Map?

Thai site gone but there is now (ATFS ICO Start) in its place no maps no other info. Maybe I've been given a dose of malware from the Thai site. I`ll go down to the chemist and get it checked. :wht11

Okay guys and gals.

After much deliberation, discussion and some listening, Garry (ppopeye) and I have come up with a VIC RTE 2019 calendar, and here it is:

When hotel lunch bookings or accommodation availability has been confirmed, a thread will be started for each RTE with all of the usual type details.

The 11 May overnighter to Yarram is a consolation prize for Victorians and any others who (like me) will not be venturing to Balranald later that month.  Of course, some may wish to attend both, 'specially if they are attending and want to take the Victoria flag to the Balranald event.

Looks like a great year. Now that we’ve moved back to the big-smoke, I’m actually quite central to almost all of these runs. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to make quite a few next year, double fingers crossed that my eldest (who turns 8 in Jan) likes the bike and wants to come along to a couple!

It is now tomorrow.

Here's an updated VIC RTE 2019 calendar.  Update fields are yellow highlighted.

As the first two are now "locked in", I'll start a new thread for each one.

Morning, sitting down to enter these all in the calendar, just querying the date of the July RTE... Sun 11th doesn't seem to exist this year!

It is now tomorrow.

Garry has pointed out to me that the RTE scheduled for 20 April 2019 is actually over Easter, so I have nominated a move to Saturday 27 April 2019.

Okay Victorians, and wannabees, the VIC RTE calendar has changed, again.  There are a few catch-ups, eg:
  • Whoroully changed to Myrtleford, because despite the old owner confirming my booking, the new owners don't do Saturday lunch.
  • Yarram Club Hotel changed to Commercial Hotel because the Club closed, and ride was cancelled due to lack of interest.
  • Skipton Hotel, Skipton changed to Court House Hotel, Smythsdale because Skipton has closed.
  • Motobean Cafe has also changed hands, don't know new name as yet, will post when I do.

So what we have is:

Re. Skipton closed, rode there a month or so ago with a coupla mates, the pub has closed, looked like the town had too, trip wasn't a waste through as got talking to an old timer former Honda dealer motorcycle mechanic and an ST fan.

Anyway stand by for a Smythedale RTE thread.
