« on: August 23, 2013, 07:22:38 PM »
If you've ever thought of traveling on a motorcycle oversea's,or for that matter extended touring in Oz ,this is the meeting for you .this year the list of guest speakers is truly impressive ,among them Peter and Kay Forward ,the most travelled motorcyclist on the earth, they have ridden their Harley to Every country in the world. Also the Founders of Horizons unlimited Susan and Grant Johnson will be flying in from Canada ,i'm booked and paid ,can not wait.If you are not familiar with HU do a google search ,their are years of motorcycle travels on the site to read/watch.I can not recommend  this organization too highly.Hope to see some of you there.Oh the date/location ,26th to the 29th of September. At the Dayboro Show grounds https://www.facebook.com/overlandadventuretravel/app_23798139265?ref=br_tf if you use this link click on HUBB to access their Facebook page .

Many of us have travelled overseas, in one form or another  :thumb we are talking about a Route 66 ride in 2015

horizons looks to be really interesting, but I am committed with work so I won't be able to attend  :thumb

Sabie last time i checked New Zealand is ,i'm half Kiwi (mother)Have been more times than i can remember, excellent riding roads.Streak life is like that some times,I hope when i get sold up here to do a lot of international travel,Iv'e been to a number of countries ,so much still to see,you know iv'e had people say to me "NO THANKS i want to see my own country first"But mostly these people don't even do that.how many of us know people who spend big money on 4x4's etc and never go any where ,just in love with the idea i think.Any how should any of you consider this kind of travel HU is an unbeatable resource ,and it's completely free.

Brock i'm not much of a night owl ,this meeting is all day show, although some things go into the night. I see you have a thing for Asia ,lots of beautiful country up there and cheap to mostly ,I like Singapore too,can recommend Malaysian Borneo and Brunei, would like to go the Thailand one day ,China is also worth the trouble.   Any how will post a few happy snaps when i get there.

I've at least joined the forum. The group is meeting in Perth in October so I might pop in. I'm really keen to ride internationally - I blame Ewan & Charlie for that. I just need the time off work, the $$ to support me when I'm there, a leave pass from home, & of course the destination. A quick skim of HUBB looks like it could be useful.
