Now Streak or Marcus... :spank...while having a chat with Helen it became apparent that though she was well aware about all the bookings, she was UN-aware it was us lot returning as per last year...she knows now :thumbsup
The reason for the spank is that she needed to know that for catering purposes etc. For all she knew we'd be there for a function elsewhere, as often is the case in these small communities...so perhaps who ever posts these get togethers / RTE's really think as a courtesy we ought to tell the Publicans Wife ;-*

....... Anyone want to ride a long way from Melbourne to Tungamah? Something like this: http://goo.gl/maps/wVdLB (http://goo.gl/maps/wVdLB)Any takers for some company on the ride?
Like to leave St Helena around 10:00am, could be as late 11:00am if that's more suitable for others. Lunch en route.
...... I'll have my better half coming so .....
...... we'll head straight there I think
...... depends if there are any rooms or camping sites available in the town.I booked last week, was told I got the last room, probably worthwhile calling to check tomorrow though. Somebody may have room / spare bed, not with us though - Mrs W wouldn't be too pleased.
Anybody in the know?
Found out today that I wont have to work this weekend, so was thinking of heading up to Tungamah Sat arvo. It all depends if there are any rooms or camping sites available in the town.E

Hi Guys and Gals,
As a few of us are leaving from Melbourne suburbs how about we meet at Glenburn Service station (on Melba Hwy) at about 1130. We may be able to get a few bikes riding together to make for a pleasant Afternoon.
This should also fit in with Williamsons plans, and I reckon stopping somewhere for a feed sounds great too. ++
Let me know if your interested and I'll PM my Mobile to you.
Cheers,
Hendo

Not sure I had chicken. Gotta say what a blast of a trip. Meeting up with fellow Ozstoc`ers at Glenburn for the ride in (or around) in this case, didn't realize I should have put the Knobbies on , never mind it was like my License test allover again didn't put my feet down so that's a pass. :eek. I did have a chuckle when we came out of the bush and Ppopeye rode past what he was thinking these guys are up too? :grin. Anyways, never been through Whitfield, didn't have a clue where I was, but was again a great learning curve.
Amber fluid was flowing well at the pub :beer, gotta say too that the Grub was great as were the hosts.
Good conversations were had by all and opportunity to meet and catch up with as many as I could was great. Nice to see too that the weather gods were shinning over us. Oh, and a special encouragement award for the locals. :crackup Was that Spider-man hitting on Wonder woman or too many frothies?
Interestingly juiced up at Yea on return trip and my trusty mate was sipping fuel at 4.9/100 :thumb so happy with that . Having said that got home only to find a leaking left fork , quite badly , so into the shop for some love, :well not sure do this myself. All in all great trip and Lar Lar go get the CTX. :well :wht11
