Now that the bin is out on the kerb I bet it is too far for poor schnookums to take the garbage out of the kitchen .  I can see his house becoming like a horders place with Garbage reaching the ceiling because he is too damn lazy!

Don't bins that are left out empty on the road side go missing around your neighbourhood?  Move it a house down the street each night, and it'll be further for him to take his rubbish out next Monday night.
At my age you realise something very important, then ten minutes later you've forgotten it.

True, that has happened before...
Hmmm? ...  I wonder if we can leave the NEIGHBOUR out on the kerb? :think1

His bin migrated to its normal place of repose overnight, but I am unsure who was responsible?

Guess what?... tonight's the night again! ... lets see if he has learned anything?

OK, the bet is on.... the girls next door reckon that he has learned his lesson and will put his bin out... I maintain that as he now has at least 3 weeks of rubbish gracing his flat, he will conveniently forget about the trash for another week because he doesn't give a rats a** damn until it gets too smelly and will then load all our trash bins again.

These two girls are priceless! They just came and told me the bet is off, because they are going to shame him into putting his bin out.

It's after midnight.

They knocked on his door, and when he opened it they started saying stuff like "OMG! WASSAT STINKING SMELL?"

Then they walked away back to their own flat. :crackup :rofl

Diddums is too thick to think of a reason WHY they should knock on his door in the first place, and he has just loaded his bin to the max, and wheeled iti to the kerbside.

What is really sad, is the 800 bike riders around Oz are eagerly awaiting the next instalment of this saga.

I had hoped so, but the gate is still swinging freely...  he seems to have the memory span of a goldfish.

I may have to confront him, and make it extremely plain that his social interaction attitude may cause him severe pain.

Just had words with the boy.
The idiot grin on his face soon disappeared.

"The gate has a bolt for a reason. If it is not closed, it bangs on my wall in the wind. I am sick and tired of having to get out of bed in the middle of the night to close this gate that you insist on leaving open, week after week. If I have to suffer this annoyance again, be prepared for me banging on YOUR door in the middle of the night to correct the problem and I will not be in the best of moods when I do so.
You unlatched the gate to pass through, just latch it behind you? It's not rocket science?"

Hey Kevin it may not be rocket science but it is work that the younger generation don't believe in.

The saga has now taken a darker turn... The Landlord came visiting today, as the units are for sale... He brought along some prospective buyers to inspect the flats. Well, mine is a bit untidy, but not downright dirty.

His was the first visited.  Apparently the place is still full of trash, takeaway pizza boxes for instance. There were five of them stacked on the bench.

Landlord asked him about them, he said "It was late when I had dinner last night, and I forgot to put them in the bin!"

Landlord asked "You ate FIVE pizzas for dinner last night???"
Might have an empty flat next door soon.

Hmmmm...???  One of two things seems to have occurred...

.. either he has twigged that 'Tonight is the Night!' ,
or..
.. he is cleaning up, preparatory to moving out / being evicted?

I already overheard the girls next door warning him about sticking his trash in their bin.

I frankly wonder why it is an issue for them.
Provided he's not stinking up their bin with something disgusting, it's no cost to them if he adds some more rubbish for the tip.
I've often donated stuff to my neighbour's spare bin space without any sense of imposing on them.

The stuff that he has been putting out has been stockpiled for weeks and is absolutely putrid.
I can even smell his trash from my place, the girls flat entrance is directly in front of the bins.

Wouldn't be so bad if he at least sealed it in garbage bags, but this is just open plastic shopping bags stuffed with food scraps.

Oh my giddy lord!

... He has put his trash in the bin, and moved it to the kerb for collection!  :hatwave

.. and he has also put out both recyclable bins for collection as well!   :o

(considering he filled them both, that's a good effort)  :thumb

Just a pity that the recyclable bins are not due for collection until NEXT week  :eek ... but at least it is a positive effort on his part.

He IS trying... sometimes VERY trying... Just why he left it until 2 am has me beat... maybe he just wanted to wake everybody ?
