Sorry to hear about your heat wave...
« on: January 02, 2020, 07:58:18 AM »
Hello All:

I see in the news that it has been quite hot lately in parts of Australia.  Sorry to hear that.

To (hopefully) cheer you up a little, and show that riding conditions can also be bad at the other end of the spectrum, here is a photo of my ST in Toronto, Canada.

Michael

You'd want to be be wearing your waterproof pants to depart on that ST!
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott

Shiney explains it in one of his Tassie videos.

Hey Pete, you need to get out more, fair weather riding is for the fairys.

The extent of snow they get in some parts of the Northern Hemisphere is extraordinary.  This pic was taken at Crater Lake in southern Oregon on our 2017 tour of the US & CA; approx. 7,000ft above sea level.

And the "snow season" had finished when we were there.
Cheers,  Williamson (AKA Michael)
