Finito the end
« on: January 13, 2020, 06:27:23 PM »
Hello Guys,

As mentioned in earlier posts in other topics, my much loved ST1100 was for sale.

I advise that just prior to Xmas, that 1100 went to a new home, NON Ozstoc Member, however all Club info including Jackets etc was included in the transaction.

I now rely exclusively on 4 wheel transportation....4wd, my second great like.

I will miss you guys, wonderful people and participants in a great club.

I travelled Australia in 2018 and circumstances did not permit catching up with any.

Good luck to all and=May the Club grow and prosper.

Keep your rubbe4 down.

As an addendum- my main reason For selling, only traversed 1017 kms since Oct ‘17 (2years)
Lack of storage for the beast.
Medically, no problem, full recovery from Quadruple Open Heart Surgery, commonly explained to people as CABG x 4 ( Coronary Artery Bypass Graft)
Win lotto or similar, may well be another on the horizon.... who knows.
Yesterday is History, Tomorrow the Mystery, therefore Today the Present.

Sorry Bobster, once in you stay in unless I kick you out.

Just because you are no longer riding, is no reason to leave.

All the best for the future..

You can sell your bike anytime you like, but you can never leave.
A man rides on his STeed, says “Why am I short of attention? Got a short little span of attention”.

You can call me Steve, with apologies to Paul Simon.

Hi BobSTer.    Life's circumstances change and seasons come to an end, so I'm sorry to hear that your motorcycling days have come to an end.  However, as others have said, you remain part of the OzSTOC fellowship, and it would be great to continue to see you attending  RTE's or NatRalies.    :thumbs

bobSTer sorry that the bike had to go
But it would be good to see you at another RTE in the 4x4
I attend most in the cage as Robyn doesn't go on the bike
There is always something to talk about besides bikes
You can even talk to me about Roses

You can even talk to me about Roses

I avoid thorny subjects...
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
