Good analysing, to come up with a figure of 33 more needed.  It takes a bit of the pressure off the situation.
Now we've got a new sub-committee: the Jacket Strategizers.    ++         :clap

STreak how did your jacket measure up with the sample jacket out of curiosity
Thanks also guys for your time and effort  involved.  :like :clap

I did this Last night, as my Prototype jacket is an Extra Large, and my jacket was a 2XL, and it is a full size smaller than the prototype jacket

Streak,
Did the sleeve length vary by two sizes as well?
I have long arms (2m span) and my 7XL jacket is a reasonably good fit in the length of the sleeves.
My concern is that someone who ordered a 5XL may find the 7XL is a good fit in the chest/stomach but the 7XL sleeves may reach down past the thumbs.
I'm not trying to make your difficult job harder by raising this concern.
I'm happy to get the jacket to you (at my expense) so that you can test it on a 5XL person.

Got my XL jacket in the mail today.. unfortunately I ordered a 3XL  The sleeves were too short as well. Not too many people to swap with up here.. actually no-one to swap with up here. Will have to wait and see what plan 'C' is going to be.

Great work Streak, you & Mark are doing a magnificent job under trying circumstances.    ++

As Lionel posted earlier my 3xl size jacket fits perfect for the length in the arms, but not around the girth or shoulders.
If i were to go up to a 5xl the arms could be down to my knees...good point Lionel...

Very Dappa Diesel...

Have a look at how good this mesh liner is. Was just putting the other layers back in for the new owner, and saw how ventilated this jacket is...

Well done Streak et al, good to hear that plan B (or is it C?) is in hand.

As I mentioned previously, I'm happy to hang on till Toowoomba for a a swap or participate in whatever is decided as the best way forward.  To help with the spreadsheet work, here's a couple of comparison selfies (via mirror!!) showing the Ozstoc fit against a DriRider Airmesh (both nominally XL).  I haven't removed either of the liners in the OZstoc photo, fairly tight fit with long sleeved shirt under.  Clearly I'm not as accomplished a selfie photographer as Diesel (??) but I agree that the jacket will make for a very dapper motorcyclist.......

Certainly appreciate everything Streak, you and the team are doing, this is above and beyond and I feel for Mark from Zen he is between a rock and a hard place dealing with overseas suppliers.

This is clearly the best finished and thought out jacket I have ever owned, I know I'm going to get years of happy riding once we get over this little hiccup..... ++

If this helps any of the smaller ladies who have ordered and in need of a size change here is Pockey in a mens Medium and normally wears a ladies size 8-10.

Here is moi in an XL (without liners) I'm generally safe in a 2XL in anything including current Jackets so would need a 4XL. Will grab a pic tomorrow in a OzSTOC 4XL for reference.
Zipping up Jacket in pic is not an option....would need another 100mm minimum and 40mm in the sleeves, hope it helps someone  :thumbsup

I certainly prefer the original dark grey/charcoal shirt colour.
It seems to have a touch of class that is missing from the newer black versions.

Black shirts are very common. Is there any chance of reverting to the earlier colour?

                                                                          OzSTOC Custom Motorcycle Jacket

Well what a well put together jacket, it has been a few months since I have seen the prototype jacket that Streak had
But again checking it out when the orders came through I am amazed at the quality of these jackets, it's just a pity it's
a bit small for me actually 2 sizes too small.
Top marks to Mark from Zen Motorcycle Gear for organising supply of these jackets.
It's just a pity this sizing thing happened but I'm sure it will all work out and we will have great jackets and the envy of all other bike clubs

A big thank you to Streak for coming up with the idea in the first place, where would OzSTOC be with out him
You can see why his HipPocket Workwear in Toowoomba does so well

 :blk13

I think that's just Leo adding some class  :p

Anyways.....short answer No !!

Changing to the new shirt was bought about for a few reasons, breathability and odour retention that didn't make the previous shirt bike friendly was a major reason..... a few companies were using the old grey shirt (IGA & BWS) that we know of....we where having badge issues as they where an iron on patch that also increased the manufacturing/handling time....and had designed a new embroidered club logo to decrease handling time and cost of manufacture (new shirts cheaper to members than old  :wink1)

The colour grey wasn't offered in the range by the new shirt manufacturer. We considered black as an potential issue in relation to being absorbent of the heat from the sun but this got far outweighed by the fact that we were only really in the sun when covered by our bike jackets and the breathability of this material voided any heat issue.

Black was considered part of our club base colours and really made the Orange pop out  :wink1 We did use a very dark navy blue for the ladies shirts to have a small difference and allow them a different look but does blend well with the black when the shirts in a group.

I could tell you that the black was also because Bikers wear black  :rofl but when you look around society and what blokes wear most often......it's Black.

The other reason that Pockey mentioned when first picking the shirt and colour was black has a slimming effect on the male body.....WHAT IS SHE SAYING ABOUT US !!!!  :eek

Ok I'm off to the tread mill  :H

Back to Jackets now and thanks for the question JC, I hope this answered it for you :like
