Some of us from the BMW m/c club are doing the motorcycle rolling road closures for the NZ Cycle Classic this weekend (international-level bicycle series) so I should be able to show off my replacement OzSTOC jacket to the TV cameras of the world if it arrives this week.

**Jacket Update**

To date we have been able to place 45 Jackets with new owners  :runyay 11 of these members stayed with their original Jacket.

4 members have not yet recieved their Jackets as they are away from home at the moment (We have kept a XL and 3XL in reserve as they didnt have the oportunity to participate in the exchange process)

22 members so far have elected a Re-Order

2 members Store Credit from Zen

1 Member a Refund from Zen

We still have 5 members considering their options or have not been contactable......

We can now confirm from the feedback we have received from the vast majority of  the membership that this process of assisting members to initially find there own Jacket and have OzSTOC follow up by putting members in touch with each other was the best option under the not ideal circumstances.

We would have seriously wished to put every member who ordered and paid for a Jacket into a Jacket, but we could only play the hand we were delt. Just to reiterate, only 2 of the OzsTOC leadership team and Senior Moderation team where able to secure Jackets at this time from this round of Jackets.

The remaining Jackets will be advertized for sale to the wider and smaller  :p membership this week......

thanks for your cooperation everyone  :-++

My XXL Jacket needs to be regifted.

At this point in time, I'm unsure of a possible replacement size, as the pattern may not be proportionally relative to the DriRider jackets.

Of course people who recieved a jacket are going to say good job..... :fp

There are quite a few in this category.  Basically optimistic people:

I have to back everyone who helped sort out this mess. As the saying goes when life (or this case overseas manufacturers) give you lemons you make lemonaide .    As one of the people who now have to wait for a jacket, the situation could have been a lot worse if everyone had ill fitting jackets.   RICHO.

Congratulations to Chris & Jean for making an unforeseeable nightmare a little better.

I have only but praise for the steering group in their endless task of dealing with this major issue.

Not only have ST2UP & Pocket Stocker given up their much deserved trip away but also must be out of pocket with all the phone calls to deal with this problem.

I for one congratulate the Chris & Jean & the steering committee for working around this.

My briefly preloved OzSTOC jacket is on is way to Queensland to a new owner.

I will patiently wait for production of a new jacket as I believe it will be worth it.

My current Dririder jacket is 3XL.
Having lost about 14kg it is now way too big so I am in the market for a new one. I didnt order the OzSTOC jacket as I was not a member when the order went in but would like to get one . However what size in the current jackets will fit ?
I expect  i would fit into an XL or XXL, which seems to relate to ??? in the current sizing.
Anyone got one they need to forward on. ???

 :hatwave

 :bl11

I will go and try on some new jackets just in case i am not as thin as i thought.

Can now confirm my current jacket size is XL. So going by all the previous comments i require an XXXL ???

The additional Jackets will be released in next few days at a slightly reduced price to reflect size tag error, the following figures are a rough number:

Medium - 7

XL - 6

2XL - 13

3XL - 4

Just awaiting a response from a couple of members for final figures so we can move to the next stage and re-ordering, refund, Store credit.....(spoken with the overseas members holidaying)......so check your PM's/ SMS 's/ emails to be sure you have none waiting from me :Stirpot  ;-*

If your current Dririder is a 3XL then you would need an Ozstoc 5XL, but with the weight loss maybe a 4XL. You may be able to find a member near you of those sizes to try on.

I need to try a 5XL, but may need a 6XL, I will find out soonish.

Have a look at how good this mesh liner is. Was just putting the other layers back in for the new owner, and saw how ventilated this jacket is...

I believe that is a waterproof membrane. Flow through air circulation will be almost nil, as there are only a few small zippered slits for entry/exit of air. Up here, I use the jackets with large open mesh vented panels, such as the DriRider AIR-RIDE 2 for about 11 months of the year.

I think the mesh Diesel was talking about is what is left and attached to the jacket proper when all the liners are removed.  The design of the jacket with its ten openings and ability to leave the cuff open was to allow for flow through ventilation, a good ride will test this for me....which reminds me I need to get out for a ride......
