I not sure if I had ever heard about them , certainly never taken much notice until I saw them featured in "Britain's Greatest Machines" on TV last night.

If, in the most fortunate circumstance you do find yourself in a the position with a spare $72k to play with, I would think spending it on repo BS is pointless. Coz it just isn't anythink like the original. They could, at least have stayed with a 'V' twin shape and not gone with the 'L' twin.  :fp

Might I reccommend something like...

...it's original, it will only appreciate in value and presently you could reasonbly expect to trouser a few $k in change from ya $72k, even for one with matching numbers.

Just a thought :-)

If I had $72K to spend on a bike, I would get a couple or three STs, so that I had some thing to ride for a long long time o:) o:)

Strewth!  How long do you intend living?  These things go on forever.  Each one!
For the modern man who lives in the city, riding a bike might be one of the only ways to escape the humdrum monotony. To take off and ride. To be both at one with nature and one with the bike. To feel masculine. Adam Piggott
